Cre recombinase (Cre-I-cre polyA),was inserted into the initiating ATG codon/first coding exon of Aldh1l1 in the C57BL/6J mouse BAC RP23-7M9. Purified BAC DNA was injected into FVB/N embryos. This is founder line JD1884. Resultant mice were crossed to C57BL/6J for a few generations. (J:185602)
