An FRT flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted upstream of the coding exon. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of the coding exon. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neomycin resistance cassette and left the coding exon floxed. (J:198233)
