A construct having a 3,2 kb human EGR3 genomic promoter followed by the wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) coding sequence was used for pronuclear injection. An artificial intron with splice donor/acceptor site was placed upstream of the WGA sequence to improve expression efficiency. Expression of WGA is directed to intrafusal muscle fibers of muscle spindles. Line information is not available.
