Exons 3 through 6 were floxed. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette and left exons 3 through 6 floxed. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 3 through 6. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in E18.5 lungs. (J:195140)
