One loxP site was inserted in intron 1 and a neomycin resistance cassette flanked by both FRT sites and by loxP sites was inserted following exon8. Flp recombinase was then used to remove the selection cassette from properly targed mice. exons 2-8 were then flanked by loxP sites. (J:194920)
