A targeting construct was designed to insert a loxP- and frt-flanked neomycin (neo) resistance cassette downstream of exon 7. A point mutation was introduced in exon 7, encoding a RING domain, resulting in an H582A mutation. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:199221)
