An EYFP-loxP-neo-loxP cassette was inserted at the ATG site in exon 1, replacing the remainder of the exon 1 coding sequence. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. QRT-PCR confirmed the absence of transcript expression in embryos. (J:198115)
