Two Tbx6 binding sites contained within the minimal pre-somitic mesoderm enhancer region upstream of exon 1 were replaced with a wild type copy of this region. A floxed neo cassette inserted upstream of the enhancer region was removed by germ line, cre mediated recombination. This mutation serves as a control to Mesp2tm12Ysa. (J:141112)
