A transgene was designed to contain (from 5' to 3') the entire mouse T-box 22 (Tbx22) gene, an internal ribosome entry site (IRES), cre recombinase, another IRES Sequence, the mCherry variant of red fluorescent protein (RFP), and a bovine polyadenylation sequence. This transgene was microinjected into fertilized C57BL/6J oocytes and founder male 1 was bred to C57BL/6J females. (J:195615)
