A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 2. A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 5. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 2 through 5 and the neo cassette. RT-PCR confirmed the absence of transcript expression in cardiac tissue. (J:195186)
