An FRT flanked gene trap cassette (splice acceptor, neo, IRES, GFP and polyadenylation sequence) with a 3' loxP site was targeted downstream of exon 3. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in thymocytes. This knock-out allele is reversible following flp-mediated removal of the gene trap cassette. (J:194195)
