A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 2 and a an FRT flanked pgk-EM7-neo cassette and loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 5 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the pgk-EM7-neo cassette leaving exons 2 - 5 floxed. (J:191046)
