A cassette consisting of the cre/ERT2 sequence followed by the Otx2 3' UTR with the polyadenylation signal (and floxed neo marker) replaced the entire coding sequence of Otx2 following homologous recombination in ES cells. Founder animals were bred to CMV-deleter mice to remove the neo. (J:194049)
