Exon 10 was replaced with a modified one in which nucleotide substitutions (GAT GGG to GCC GGC) results in the amino acid substitution of alanine for aspartic acid at position 455 (D455A). This modification is predicted to produce a caspase-resistant protein. A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of the modified exon 10. (J:189241)
