Sgpl1^{tm1c(KOMP)Saba}

A targeting vector directed to the Sgpl1 gene was created by the KOMP project. A promoterless beta geo cassette flanked by FRT sites and containing loxP sites was inserted 5' of exon 10 while an additional loxP site was inserted in intron 12. The targeting cassette was then excised leaving exons 10-12 which encode the enzyme cofactor binding site flanked by loxP sites. (J:187619)
