A loxP site and FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted upstream of exon 1, a 3X Flag tag was added after the initiation codon and a loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 1 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:187380)
