A targeting vector was designed to fuse an enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) cassette to the 3' end of exon 3. A frt-flanked loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette (neo) was inserted downstream of exon 3. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:186832)
