A YAC containing a full-length human huntingtin gene under the control of the endogenous human HDH promoter was modified with a 128 CAG repeat expansion. The resulting construct (YAC128) was used to generate transgenic mice. Founder line 54 had lower levels of protein expression compared to line 53 and 55. (J:84453)
