The 8.5 kb promoter drives expression of the first three exons of the mouse gene, including a neuron-restrictive silencer element (NRSE), fused to an improved tetracycline transactivator (itTA) with a polyadenylation signal from the human growth hormone gene. Line 10 and 12 were generated. Line 12 exhibit more forebrain expression. (J:96556, J:103689)
