A loxP site was inserted upstream of a exon 13. An FRT-flanked neo cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 15. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 13 through 15 of Trpv6, exons 17 and 18 of Ephb6 and the neo cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in the epididymis.
