A floxed PGK-neomycin cassette was inserted in intron 15 and a third loxP site was placed in intron 17. Cre expression resulted in mice in which either the floxed neo alone was removed leaving exons 16 and 17 flanked by loxP sites or in which the floxed neo and exons 16 and 17 were removed. (J:184432)
