A loxP site was inserted in intron 18 and an FRT-loxP flanked neomycin cassette was inserted upstream of exon 15. Flp recombinase excised the selection caqssette leaving exons 15 to 18 flanked by loxP sites. Expression of cre recombinase then removed expns 15-18. (J:184591, J:184592)
