Exon A20 was replaced with a gene trap vector containing (5' to 3'): lox2272 site, loxP site, FRT site, lacZ gene, and cDNA encoding exon 2SA. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. qRT-PCR confirmed a 90% downregulation of transcript expression. (J:184320)
