Coding sequence of EGFP followed by a polyadenylationsignal was inserted into the initiation codon of Zfp423 located in exon 1 from bacterial artificial chromosome RP23-102G4. The modified BAC does not contain any functional domains of Zfp423 or contain full-length coding sequence of any other annotated genes. Five founder lines were produced, two of which were greatly enriched for Zfp423 mRNA in cells positive for EGFP. Data for one of these two lines was published. (J:182285)
