The cre/ERT sequence and a polyadenylation sequence were cloned behind a fragment of the Fzd9 gene consisting of 7,1 kb upstream of the translational start site. The linearized purified fragment was injected into B6/FVB oocytes and three founders were obtained. All 3 showed similar staining patterns when crossed to R26-lacZ reporter animals and one line was analyzed in greater detail. (J:183309)
