A targeting vector containing GFP-Cre/ERT2 cassette (GCE) and FRT site flanked Kanamycin/neomycin selection cassette was used to disrupt the exon containing the ATG translation start-site. The construct was electroporated into 129S7/SvEvBrd-Hprt1b-m2 derived AB2.2 embryonic stem (ES) cells. Correctly targeted ES cells were injected into recipientblastocysts. The resulting chimeric animals were crossed to C57BL/6 mice. (J:159099)
