A loxP/FRT site flanked targeting vector containing PGK-Neo selection cassette was utilized in the construction of this allele. This selection cassette was inserted upstream of exon 2 of the targeted gene, and another loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:183006)
