A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3. A construct containing an FRT-flanked neo cassette, loxP site, mouse cDNA, IRES, and nuclear localized lacZ was placed downstream of exon 3. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:182927)
