A lox2272 site was inserted upstream of exon 3 and an FRT flanked neo cassette and lox2272 site were inserted downstream of exon 4 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Western blot analysis confirms protein expression in homozygous mice is similar to wild-type levels. (J:182150)
