Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and the microRNA stem loop from Mir688tm1Mtm. qRT-PCR analysis confirmed the loss of the microRNA. No beta-galactosidase expression is observed in E11.5 embryos; expression is observed in E18.5 embryos and adult brain. (J:181752)
