This ENU-induced mutation was isolated in a screen at the University of Pittsburgh. It is a subline of b2b508Clo. The molecular lesion is a C to T substitution at coing nucleotide 2381 in exon 16 of the cDNA (c.2381C>T, NM_011417). This cahnges the threonine residue to isoleucine at position 794 of the encoded protein (p.T794I). (J:175213) Additional incidental mutations were detected in sequencing for the causative mutation, Smarca4b2b508.1Clo, and may be present in stocks carrying this mutation.
