A floxed neo cassette replaced the conserved noncoding sequence 2 (CNS2), located 2 kb upstream of Il17a and 56.5 kb away from Il17f. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. ELISA confirmed the reduction in protein expression of Il17a and Il17f in T cells under Th17 conditions. (J:181186)
