Exon 4 was replaced with a splice acceptor, stop codon, IRES, bovine MAPT fused to lacZ (tau-lacZ) and floxed neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Immunofluorescence confirmed the absence of protein expression. (J:181058)
