A targeting vector contained the coding sequences of the red fluorescent protein FP635 downstream of a loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette containing three transcriptional stop signals. The construct was electroporated into R1 ES cells. Correctly targeted ES cells were used to establish the R26RFP635 reporter strain. (J:178239)
