A targeting vector was generated by inserting an F2A-cre-F2A-EGFP-Frt-PGK-gb2-Neo-Frt cassette immediately before the stop codon of of the Nkx3-2 gene sequence in a BAC (RP24-148P5). The 19.6 kb BAC targeting vector was electroporated into V6.4 ES cells for homologous recombination. The neo cassette was subsequently removed by FLPe-mediated recombination. (J:178893)
