A targeting vector was generated by inserting an IRES-cre-IRES-EGFP-Frt-PGK-gb2-Neo-Frt cassette into the 3'UTR of the Nkx3-2 gene sequence in a BAC (RP24-148P5), The 20.6 kb BAC targeting vector was electroporated into V6.4 ES cells for homologous recombination. The neo cassette was subsequently removed by FLPe-mediated recombination. (J:178893)
