A hemagglutinin tagged human FOXO4 DNA containing T28A, S193A, and S258A mutations was placed under the control of the Fabp4 promoter. Four positive lines were analyzed for protein expression and one un-named line which was positive by Western blot analysis was backcrossed for at least 7 generations to C57BL/6J. Expression of the transgene was detected in brown adipose tissue, all white adipose tissue depots and in macrophages. (J:178134)
