A neomycin resistance cassette flanked by FRT sites was introduced to intron 53 in reverse transcriptional orientation along with a single loxP site. A second loxP site was placed in exon 54. The floxed fragment was deleted cre-mediated recombination, leaving the FRT-flanked neomycin cassette intact. (J:101977)
