A floxed neo cassette was inserted upstream of exon 9. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 10. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exons 9 and 10. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on liver, kidney, lung, brain, tesis, and bone marrow-derived dendritic cells. (J:177143)
