A loxP site and FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted upstream of exon 11 and a second loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 12 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre mediated recombination removed exons 11 and 12. (J:175541)
