The "Venus" reporter sequence with an Igk leader sequence, platelet derived growth factor transmembrane sequence, and bovine growth hormone polyadenylation signal was inserted in-frame after the initial ATG of exon 3 of a BAC Pdrm1 gene. Eight lines were produced. The line producing the brightest reporter signal was inserted in the A1-A2 segment of Chromosome 2. (J:149189)
