A loxP site was inserted 316bp downstream of exon 6 in intron 6. A loxP and Frt flanked neomycin selection cassette were inserted in intron 3. mRNA levels were dramitically reduced in homozygotes and Western blot analysis also indicated reduced protein. (J:174970)
