The transgene is composed of BAC RP24-79P16 with an in-frame fusion with EGFP in exon 9, replacing exons 10 through 12. Fourteen founders were generated. Line 4 was selected as the representative line with EGFP expression that recapitulates endogenous expression in the spinal cord and other tissues. (J:174591)
