An IRES-cre/ERT2 and an FRT flanked neomycin selection cassette were inserted 8 bp after the endogenous stop codon. The selection cassette was subsequently removed by crossing to a Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(FLP1)Dym mouse line. Endogenous gene function is preserved. (J:174914)
