A targeting vector was designed to insert a loxP site followed by a frt-flanked neomycin (neo) resistance cassette upstream of exon 46, and a second loxP site downstream of exon 52 of the phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase, catalytic, alpha polypeptide (Pi4ka) gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:172497)
