A floxed neo cassette was inserted upstream of exon 2 and a loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 2. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving exon 2 floxed. Protein expression is reduced in brains from heterozygous mice. (J:158506, J:171444)
