Trapped gene association determined by genome coordinate overlap and strand. The UPA-vector gene trap containing GFP and a neomycin resistance gene inserted into exon 3. This insertion disrupts the highly conserved UPF0564 domain after amino acid 362. Western blot confirmed absence of the full-length protein in the retina and immunohistochemistry of retinal sections shows weak expression of a truncated protein. (J:214319)
