One loxP site was inserted just upstrean of exon 2 and a floxed neomycin selection cassette in reverse orientation was inserted in intron 4. The floxed selection cassette as well as exons 2-4 were subsequently removed by cre mediated excision. No protein product is expressed. (J:171493)
