A loxP site was inserted into intron 2 and a floxed neo cassette was inserted into intro 3 via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exon 3. Western blot and immunohistochemical analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in epididymides from homozygous mice. (J:171346)
