A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 2. A floxed neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 3. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. The absence of transcript expression was confirmed by qRT-PCR analysis of liver, quadriceps, and inguinal fat extracts. (J:170924)
